My macaron obsession began with a missed flight at Charles De Gaulle. Stranded and bewildered, I watched Parisians fawn over those colorful, delicate pastries. My sister, a true visionary, gifted me a macaron baking class. The next day, I was the only adult in a sea of children, guided by a teacher who spoke just three words of English. Laughter (and a lot of sugar) followed, but so did a deep love for macaron-making.
